WHAT IS THE SUGGESTED DONATION PER NIGHT?
Single Individual - $30 per night
Each Additional Person - $10 per night
Couple - $40 per night
Family - $50 per night
CAN I DO LAUNDRY DURING MY STAY?
Yes! The Haven apartment is equipped with a
washer and dryer along with detergent for guest use.
DOES THE APARTMENT HAVE INTERNET?
Yes, there is high speed wireless internet.
WHAT IS THE LOCAL VOLTAGE?
The electrical system is 220 volts.
We provide adapters if you are bringing
devices that require different plug types.
WHAT IS THE WEATHER LIKE?
Summer all the time! It can range from mid-70’s to low 90’s
all year round. March/April are the hottest months.
July/August are the coolest months,
and October is the wettest month.
DO YOU HAVE ANY BABY GEAR?
Yes! If requested we can provide strollers,
car seats, highchair pack N’ play and or bassinette.
HOW FAR IS THE HAVEN FROM THE AIRPORT?
Depending on the traffic, it can range between 40-60 minutes.
If you require a large van for travel from the airport
to the Haven, (typically required for 5 or more people riding together + luggage)
we can arrange transportation for you.
Just let us know beforehand.
HOW FAR IS THE HAVEN FROM THE BEACH?
There are so many beaches around our city.
The closest beach to the Haven is a 10-minute drive.
The tourist beach area is about 25 minutes from The Haven.
DO I NEED TO RENT A CAR?
Public transportation is not great
but there is a very dependable rideshare service available.
We also offer a vehicle for the use of our guests.
This vehicle can be used for a $12 USD/day donation.
Donations will only be collected for the days that you use the vehicle.
You will be given the vehicle with a full tank of gas
and refueling the vehicle prior to departure
is the responsibility of the guest.
IF I USE THE POOL AT THE HAVEN DO I NEED TO BRING ANYTHING BESIDES MY SWIMSUIT?
No, we provide beach towels and toys for kids.
However, pools do have a strict swimsuit or swim shirt policy.
T-shirts are not allowed. You may be asked to change
if you are not wearing appropriate swim attire.
WHAT DOES “FULLY FURNISHED” MEAN?
Wi-Fi, TV, hairdryer, linens (towels, sheets, etc.),
washer/dryer, laundry detergent, fully equipped kitchen
with condiments, toiletries
(body wash, shampoo, conditioner),
books, board games and a wide variety of age-appropriate
children’s toys.
You can literally show up with just the clothes on your back
and enjoy a few basic pantry items to get you going for the first day.
HOW DO I PAY FOR GOODS AND SERVICES?
Most places accept credit cards and Apple Pay.
Food courts and stalls typically require cash.
There are many ATMs located around the city.
We recommend using ATMs that are attached to bank lobbies
for less chance of card skimmers.
Note: We have little to no issues with credit card fraud in our city so,
using electronic payment methods where
they are accepted are typically a safe option.
WHAT ABOUT CELL SERVICE?
You can purchase a local SIM card either at the airport
upon your arrival or nearby the Haven.
All you need is your passport to get it.
If choose to purchase service at the airport,
we recommend doing so after you clear immigration
and customs for a more efficient experience
after exiting the plane.
